Protocol design, economics, and the trust thesis.
WHAT I'M BUILDING & WHY
GGenesis Protocol: Infinity exists because trust became the most used and least enforced word in this industry. I want a chain where trust is a measured, on-chain asset, scored by certified builds and honest execution, staked with real bonds, insured by dispute economics, and compounding for the people who act honestly. A chain where lying has a settlement price. That is the whole idea; everything else is engineering in service of it.
I build it in the open, and I build it myself. The chain, the modules, the burn indexer, the wallet, the explorer, this site, one public repository, one decision log where every architecture choice is dated and argued. The site you are reading refuses to fake a single number: when the devnet is unreachable, its counters print —” instead of a placeholder. “Nothing pretends” is not a design taste. On a trust protocol, it is the product.
The economics were written before the marketing: one billion GEN, fixed, mint disabled at genesis. Five canonical assets with one burn sink. Fifty percent of every fee destroyed on-chain. I want a system where usage itself, privacy work, AI work, real-world assets, makes the gas coin scarcer, so the protocol's success is paid for by the protocol, not by the next buyer.
And it is built to outgrow me. Workers turn consumer hardware into income they can verify. Agents are certified, hash-committed software, auditable builds, not opaque bots. Every parameter, the fee split, the emissions, the asset allowlist, moves to GEN-holder governance on a published schedule, and stewardship migrates to the OpenCode (GEN) Foundation at mainnet. I am not gathering followers. I am building the thing that no longer needs me.
Where it stands: the devnet runs today and streams real blocks. No tokens exist. No sale, no allocation. Testnet, independent audits, and legal review come before any token does, in that order, on purpose. If that sounds slow, it is. Trust is the asset, and shortcuts are how you spend it.
NOTHING PRETENDS
Real devnet data or decorative dot-art. Never a fake number, never a dead control.
NUMBERS OVER ADJECTIVES
Block times, burn totals, gates. Hype words are banned from the vocabulary.
LOGGED, ALWAYS
Every architecture decision dated and argued in public, the decision log is the resume.
SEQUENCE IS SACRED
Devnet, testnet, audits, legal, tokens. The honest order, kept in that order.
