Six layers, one state machine.
Genesis is a sovereign Cosmos SDK chain with both execution worlds, EVM and CosmWasm, plus the native modules that make trust measurable: feeburn, work, score, and agency.

Spec sheet
- Consensus
- Cosmos SDK + CometBFT. 100 validators, 21-day unbonding, deterministic single-block finality.
- Execution
- EVM module (JSON-RPC :8545). eth_secp256k1 keys give every account an EVM-compatible address, the same 20 bytes render as 0x… and genesis1….
- Finality
- Single-block, deterministic. A committed block is final, no confirmation counting, no reorgs of settled history.
- Block time
- ~2s on devnet, measured 2.03s median over thousands of blocks. Sub-1.5s goal at mainnet.
- Block gas limit
- 60,000,000 gas per block, bounded in genesis tooling, roughly 200 simple transfers or several contract deployments per 2s block.
- Throughput
- Target 500–1,000 tx/s for simple transfers at mainnet (verified by a multi-node load harness before launch, no speculative TPS published before then).
- Validator baseline
- 4+ vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB SSD, static IP. Min self-delegation 1000 GEN. Slashing: 0.01% downtime (10-min jail), 5% double-sign (tombstone).
- Work-order registry
- x/work escrows bounties, locks worker stakes, verifies results through a per-class verification ladder, and settles on-chain.
- Genesis Score
- x/gscore computes 0–1000 reputation from observed behavior at each state transition, with identity bonds and inactivity decay.
- Sentinel
- A certified agent monitoring chain health, stalls, downtime, fee anomalies, with pause-only circuit-breaker authority and trip hysteresis. Never votes, never proposes.
- Feeburn
- Every fee splits 50% burn / 30% staking / 15% treasury / 5% proposer. Module fees auto-convert MOD→GENX and burn every 100 blocks.
- Lineage
- Provenance hooks record mint and burn lineage without per-unit state, supply events only, verified against GLS-1 invariants.
- Chain IDs
- genesisdev-1 (devnet) · genesistest-1 (testnet) · genesis-1 (mainnet)
Two coins, three module tokens
| Asset | Kind | Base denom | Supply | Role |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| coin | ugen | 1B fixed cap, mint disabled | Staking + governance | |
| coin | agenx | 10B dynamic (emissions + burn) | Gas + work payment | |
| module token | upriv | 2B module emissions | Privacy-layer rewards | |
| module token | uaitk | 2B module emissions | AI-layer rewards | |
| module token | urwat | 2B module emissions | RWA-layer fees |
GEN and GENX are the chain's two native coins, chain-protocol assets with consensual roles: staking/governance and gas. PRIV, AITK, and RWAT are module tokens: protocol-issued units that measure and pay for module-specific work. Every asset is bridged through an ERC-20 contract on the EVM layer for Ethereum tooling, but the wrapper is a bridge format, not what makes something a token, and four of the five pairs are live (the GEN pair registration is pending). The thesis in one line: module success deflationarily strengthens the gas coin. When any module is used, its fees convert to GENX and burn.
